Američka ambasada u Beogradu i Međunarodni trening centar za medije objavljuju konkurs
“Profesionalno usavršavanje u Americi za mlade novinare i medijske profesionalce”
Ambasada SAD u Beogradu i Međunarodni trening centar za medije objavljuju konkurs za stipendiranje jednogodišnjeg programa profesionalnog usavršavanja u Americi u 2012.- 2013. godini
2012-2013 Professional Development Year Scholarship Program.
Program je namenjen za ukupno četiri (4) mlada novinara i medijska profesionalca iz Srbije, na početku karijere,koji će dobiti priliku da provedu godinu dana na jednom od univerziteta u Americi usavršavajući se u oblasti novinarstva ili masovnih medija/komunikacija. Stipendisti će imati priliku da steknu znanja o istorijatu i tehnikama novinarstva u Americi pohađajući kurseve univerziteta kroz predavanja, praktične vežbe, posete lokalnim medijima, u potpuno autentičnom lokalnom američkom okruženju. Do sada je u programu učestvovalo nekoliko obrazovnih institucija iz Amerike, kao na primer univerziteti u Oklahomi i Tenesiju, državni univerziteti u Kentu i u Arizoni, itd.
Ambasada je obezbedila sredstva koja pokrivaju troškove od 24,500 do 26,000 dolara po učesniku. Stipendija uključuje povratnu avio kartu, mesečnu nadoknadu, troškove školarine i zdravstvenog osiguranja. Neophodno je da stipendisti odlično razumeju i govore engleski jezik kako bi u potpunosti učestvovali u nastavnom programu. Selekcija kandidata izvršiće se na osnovu njihovih kvalifikacija i odluke univerziteta. Ne postoji mogućnost da članovi porodice putuju sa odabranim kandidatima u SAD.

FMK Digital Art and New Media: Call for Applications Bachelor and MA Programs

The Faculty of Media and Communications have launched its DIGITAL ART AND NEW MEDIA study programs designed for students interested in learning, researching and creatively exploring and critically commenting on the digital media, its methods and forms in practical and theoretical work.
The programs combine foundational curriculum with cross-disciplinary theoretical support for the study, along with the art, design and practical work with the digital media. Courses delivered through modules held by adjunct faculty/professionals reflect the program's ties to various digital media industries, professionals, and independent artists and researchers. Through lectures, site visits, discussions, readings, and intensive studio practice, students will gain understanding of the critical, historical, and social dimensions of digital media and its impact to contemporary world along with skills critical for their future work as designers, artists, marketing/advertising experts, media experts, but also critical thinkers, authors, and theoreticians of contemporary culture and art.

The CFCCS (Center for Comparative Conflict Studies) at the Faculty of Media and Communications (FMK), Singidunum University invites you to apply for the Summer School in Comparative Conflict Studies. The 2010 Summer School will run from 20th -27th June and will take place at the facilities of the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.
We are offering three courses to choose from: language of instruction in all courses is English.

Call for Applications for Colloquia on Epistemic Issues "Gender Studies of and for the Region of the Balkans"
The Euro-Balkan Institute’s Department of Gender Studies within the framework of Regional Network for Gender and Women’s Studies in Southeastern Europe is announcing a Call for Applications for the 2nd in the series of three colloquia on thematic and methodological-epistemic issues: ”Gender Studies of and for the Region of the Balkans“, to be held 21-25 of June, 2010 in Ohrid, Macedonia. The Colloquia will offer master classes held by prominent scholars from the Balkan region, provocative discussions and workshops with the focus on gender issues of possible epistemic approaches in creating regional perspectives.
Please note that participants must be junior scholars in the areas of social sciences and humanities interested in exploring the issues of gender (not older than 36 years of age) and be a national of one of the countries participating in the Network (Southeastern Europe), or a Swiss national in order for her/his accommodation costs (fully), travel (partly) and fee to be covered by the Organizer.
The deadline for submitting an application is March 28th , 2010.
The results from the selection process will be announced the latest till April 7th, 2010.
