Branko Čečen wrote for a large number of domestic and foreign print media; he is an author or co-author of several TV films, hundreds of newspaper articles and a couple of educational texts from the field of journalism.
He acquired professional education through programmes such as Professional Development Programme for Reporters, Editors and Media Managers of WBUR Group and US Department of State (education through work: Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix, WBUR Public Radio); ToT training programme of the Center for Investigative Journalism Zagreb; ToT training programme NetJournalist Training Center for Investigative Reporting and Media Education Mediacenter Sarajevo.
He is currently a member of editorial boards of two Belgrade magazines (Playboy and Wine Style), instructor on several international training programmes for professional journalists, editors and authors of the regional educational Web portal for journalists www.netnovinar.org and a professor of the Narrative and Investigative Journalism at the Faculty of Media and Communications.

Narrative and Investigative Journalism in today’s professional surrounding (III year of primary studies)
The course is carried out by a group of students who through a process of acquiring of knowledge on narrative, investigative and contemporary journalism by way of work assignments in simulated contemporary organization for production of print media in real media surroundings of today’s Serbia and developed countries. The trainees should master basic technical, ethical and other standards of the narrative journalism and journalism in general, requirements and roles of certain positions within media organization and master basic tools and skills necessary for the work in print media.
