Doc. mr Sanja Petričić was born in 1978 in Belgrade where she completed elementary school. She pursued further education in USA. In 2001 she graduated at the Oberlin Conservatory in USA with full fellowship for all 4 years. After graduation, Sanja returned in Serbia where she worked as an artistic adviser at the Faculty of Music, the Department of String Instruments. In 2004 she was admitted for master studies at the reputed Juilliard School in New York, with full fellowship. Received the M.A. degree in 2006 in the field of co-repetition and chamber music in the class of professor Jonathan Feldman. She performed as a solo-artist and chamber musician in Serbia, Macedonia, Italy, Greece, France, Finland and across USA in well-known concert halls: Salle Gavot in Paris and Alice Tully Hall in New York. Received numerous prizes such as first prize in solo performance and second prize in chamber music at the International Music Competition in Stresa, Italy, second prize on the Bach’s Music Competition in Paris, France, and first prize in chamber music on the Republic and Federal Competition in former Yugoslavia. Also, she played on radio and RTS. In the past several years she organized international projects in Serbia, Greece, Finland and USA for the purpose of cultural exchange and expanding her culture and education. Sanja participated in international music festivals held at Indiana University, Cleveland Institute and International Music Festival in Casalmaggiore in Italy. She collaborated with professors such as Lydia Frumkin, Sedmara Rudstein, Mario De Li Ponti, Olivera Đurđević, Margo Garrett and Jonathan Feldman. Sanja Petričić is a docent at the Faculty of Media and Communications in Belgrade.

Classical Music in the Age of Pop Music (III year of primary studies)
Learning about historical development of classical music from Baroque to Jazz, listening to and analyzing the representative works of Vivaldi, List, Berlioz, Stravinsky and Gershwin. Revealing elements of folklore in classical music and tracing the influence of classical music on the pop culture.
Cultural and Art Project Administration I and II (II year of primary studies)
Prepare students to be able to conceive, organize and realize cultural-artistic projects related to classical music. Students acquire basic theoretical knowledge from the field of management in art that they apply in practice. Classical music is being analyzed in a new and creative way.
Alternative Approach to Classical Music (III year of primary studies)
Analysis of the correlations between artist and work as a form of communication.
Discussion about sociological factors and their impact on music as a means of communication. Students learn about historical development of music through periods, listening to and analyzing the representative works of Mozart, Chopin, Schumann and Brahms.
