Kristina Brajović Car graduated from the Department of Psychotherapy and Consultation at the Faculty of Philosophy in Belgrade. She terminated the theoretical part of training at the specialist studies for transactional analyst in psychotherapy. She’s currently in training for systematic family counsellor/practician. Defended master thesis “Dynamics of the Partner Communications from the Standpoint of the Transactional Analysis” at the Faculty of Media and Communications. From 2007 she is preparing the P.hD. in the interdisciplinary programme of studies of the Taos Institute and the Tilburg University, with Dr Harlene Anderson as her mentor.
During 2002 she took part in preparations and realization of the series of educative seminars dedicated to healthy life-styles organized by the Red Cross of Serbia.
As an associate-researcher she was involved in a qualitatively-analytic research of the Strategic Marketing and Media Research Institute (SMMRI), as an expert associate of the weekly Ekonomist (rubric Communications), as well as the daily newspapers Blic. Topics she promotes in her texts concern the practical application of contemporary psychological theories in the field of interpersonal communications. As a psychologist-counsellor during 2005 and 2006 she published expert articles in the weekly Reporter.
In January 2004 she was elected president of the Ethics Committee of the Serbian Association for Transactional Analysis (SATA), and in June of 2006 she becomes a member of the Expert Council of this association.
From 2005 she works as a coordinator of the project of the Counselling Service for the Young in the Youth Center in Belgrade (programme of the psychology workshops for improving the communication skills). The creation of this programme was a response to the recognized need for mobilizing the local resources for purpose of promotion and preservation of mental health.
From October 2006 she takes part in education process at the Faculty of Media and Communications as an associate. A lecturer in the framework of the courses of Psychology of Media and Psychology of Communications.
From January 2008 works as a consultant for the field of psychotherapy of the clinic Bel Medic in Belgrade.

Psychology of the Mass-Media (III year of primary studies)
The purpose of this course is to familiarize the students with the psychological aspects of the human-media interaction. Different media genres and contents are analyzed and interpreted in the light of contemporary psychological theories and concepts. During the course students learn about the methodology of research of media impacts, as well as the findings in the great number of representative research of the effects of media.

Dynamics of Interpersonal Communications (I year of primary studies)
A contemporary, multidisciplinary training of the students of communicology through theoretical and practical approach to topics from the domain of interpersonal and group dynamics in various contexts with permanently ongoing social dynamics. The result of attending the course is developing of and mastering the abilities of judgment in the field of interpersonal exchanges and skills of strategic presentation and proceeding in interpersonal field.
Psychology of Communication (III year of primary studies)
Within the course students are prepared to recognize and analize psycho-social phenomena such as the social perception, interaction and communication on the level of the individual, as well as in the context of group dynamics, development of the person, relations and social rules, unified in the notion of communicology. Course offers a modern synthesis of theoretical knowledge and practical skills of communicology, psychology, sociology and philosophy.
