Međunarodna konferencija "Preko krize humanistike: transdisciplinarne transformacije savremenih diskursa umetnosti i kulture"

Međunarodna konferencija "Preko krize humanistike: transdisciplinarne transformacije savremenih diskursa umetnosti i kulture" (Beyond the Crisis in the Humanities: Transdisciplinary Transformations of Contemporary Discourses on Art and Culture) okuplja teoretičarke i teoretičare savremenih umetnosti, medija i kulture, predavačice i predavače na univerzitetima u Sjedinjenim Američkim Državama, Velikoj Britaniji, Austriji, Sloveniji, Hrvatskoj i Srbiji koji će tokom dva dana trajanja konferencije diskutovati na temu mesta i uloge humanističkih nauka i teorija u savremenim transdisciplinarnim i transinstitucionalnim diskurzivnim okvirima.

Imajući u vidu mnogostrukost grananja teorijskih perspektiva u odnosu na pitanje krize humanistike, konferencija će, kroz paralelne sesije izlaganja, otvoriti nekoliko diskusionih polja:
Krize humanistike: lokalna i globalna pitanja
Društveni konflikti i pitanje krize humanistike
Telo umetnika/umetnice i publike u savremenim umetničkim i medijskim prostorima – krize i (trans)pozicije subjekta umetnosti

Pored teorijskih izlaganja na sesijama, u okviru konferencije biće otvorena izložba "Strategije arhiva – primeri avangardne, neoavangardne i savremene umetnosti", a 24. aprila od 19h biće održana i promocija knjige australijskog teoretičara savremene umetnosti prof. dr Terija Smita [Terry Smith] pod nazivom "Savremena umetnost i savremenost".

Drugo plenarno izlaganje održaće prof. dr Teri Smit, 25. aprila u 10.00h.

Zvaničan jezik konferencije i svih njenih propratnih događaja je engleski.
